Itinerary
Upon arrival at NJP/Bagdogra, you'll receive a warm welcome from our representative. We'll drive you to Gangtok (1437 m) and assist with your hotel check-in. Take some time to freshen up and relax. In the evening, enjoy a leisurely stroll on the vibrant MG Marg. Overnight stay at the hotel.
After a leisurely breakfast, depart at 8 am for Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft / 3750 m / 3 hrs drive) and Baba Harbhajan Mandir (13,200 ft / 4000 m). The scenic, zig-zag road through rugged mountain terrain leads to the ethereal Tsomgo Lake, which changes its appearance with the seasons. Next, visit Baba Harbhajan Mandir, dedicated to a brave Indian soldier. After the excursion, return to Gangtok for an overnight stay. Optional: Visit Nathula Pass (14,140 ft) at an additional cost. One of the highest motorable passes in India, it links India with Tibet and is an ancient trading border post.
After breakfast, embark on a full-day sightseeing tour of Gangtok. Visit Ganesh Tok, Banjhakri Waterfall, Namgyal Institute of Tibetology, the Ropeway, Bakthang Waterfalls, Do Drul Chorten Stupa, Tashi View Point, Directorate of Handicraft and Handloom, Enchey Monastery, and the Flower Show. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Post breakfast, drive to Pelling. The journey offers views of gorgeous tea gardens, majestic mountains, and scenic landscapes. Pelling, surrounded by pine forests, offers spectacular views of snow-capped mountains and Kangchenjunga. After the long drive, relax and enjoy leisure time at your hotel.
After breakfast, explore Pelling's local attractions. Start with the rejuvenating Kanchenjunga Waterfalls, followed by the picturesque Sewaro Rock Garden and serene Darap Valley. After a lunch break, visit Pema Yangtse Monastery, Helipad Ground, Rimbi Waterfalls, Khecheopalri Sacred Lake, and Rabdentse Ruins. Return to the hotel in the evening for an overnight stay
After breakfast, drive to Darjeeling. The journey, although bumpy, is scenic with green gardens, rivers, quaint villages, and old bridges. Upon arrival in Darjeeling, check into your hotel and relax overnight.
Begin early at 4 am with a drive to Tiger Hill (2590 m) for an unforgettable sunrise over Mt. Kanchenjunga. On the way back, visit Batasia Loop and Ghoom Monastery. After breakfast, visit the Japanese Temple, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park (closed on Thursdays), Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Tenzing Rock, Peace Pagoda, and Chitrey Tea Garden (outer view). In the evening, take a stroll along Mall Road. Overnight stay at the hotel.
